Steady-state Simulation and Experimental Investigation on Thermal Performance of Air Source Heat Pump Using Refrigerant Mixture
This paper reports a steady-state simulation model of air source heat pump system using refrigerant mixture. The system is composed of a rotary compressor, a capillary tube as throttling device, a co-axial heat exchanger as condenser, and a fin-tube heat exchanger as evaporator. In accordance with the laws of mass, momentum and energy conservation, the mathematical models of four components are established. System simulation algorithm is also proposed. Following the comparison of the simulated and experimental results, the same trend with the change of working conditions can be seen. The proposed model seems to be reliable and could be used in analyzing the thermal performance of an air source heat pump system using mixed working fluid.
