Neon Throttle Liquefiers in Installations for Producing Light Inert Gases and Neon Isotopes
We have considered throttle cycles for neon liquefaction with preliminary cooling at the temperature level(T=66.78K).Besides the classic Lindes cycle,some alternative installations with the intermediate pressure working agent have been studied.The influence of the pressures on liquefaction coefficient,specific nitrogen flow and power consumption have been researched.The usage of diaphragm compressors in rare gases extraction installations has been grounded.
