Study on the Critical Frequency of a Thermo-acoustic System
For a thermo-acoustic system driven by thermal energy, the critical frequency is a pivotal factor which determines the system work normally or not. A thermo-acoustic system is made up of several pipe-sections with different acoustics characteristics. The critical frequencies and other acoustics characteristics of each section are analyzed, and the critical frequency of the complete appliance is studied in this paper. Moreover, the major factor which will influence the performance of the complete appliance is discussed.
