Prediction of Homogeneous Azeotropes for Binary HFCs and HCs Refrigerant Mixtures

摘要：

A simple approach based on Newtons method using Wilson activity coefficients equation and Antoine equation is presented to determine the binary homogeneous azeotropes for hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and hydrocarbons (HCs) mixtures. The method is verified with the binary systems of R170+R116 and R125+R290. Good agreements are found between the predicted results and the literature data.
