Modeling and Calculating of Elevator Evacuation Traffic Based on the Markov Network Queuing Theory in High-Rise Buildings
Based on analyzing characteristics of high-rise buildings elevator traffic system, the Markov network queuing theory was used to develop elevator evacuation traffic model and the analytic solutions of the model were carried out.By using the calculating results in high-rise buildings evacuation instance on fire conditions, which show that elevator evacuation traffic model was superior to up-peak traffic model both in escape efficiency and elevator utilization ratio. This demonstrated that elevator evacuation traffic model was feasible and superior.
