Storage test of sweetpotato slurry for fuel-ethanol production

摘要：

Starch and sugar would decompose rapidly in decayed storage roots of sweetpotato.But insweetpotato slurry,the starch kept relate stable.In open place,the slurry became acid rapidly,caused by fermentation microorganism,but the increase of acidity would restrict the activity of fermentation and microorganism population,the balance point was found to be at pH3.6.Fresh sweetpotato could be stored as slurry for months,and extend the raw material providing period for fuel ethanol production.
