Methane seasonal emission from Mongolian sheep fed Leymus chinensis
Methane emission from ruminant enteric fermentation is a major anthropogenic contribution of increased atmospheric methane concentration.Sheep are dominating grazing animal in Inner Mongolia steppe (Chen and Wang,2000).It is important to evaluate methane source or sink in the grazing steppe ecosystem to measure methane from sheep. The methane from Mongolian sheep fed Leymus chinensis was studied.
