Introduction Ecosystem services are benefits people obtain from ecosystems.An international work program and the largest assessment of the world ＝ s ecosystems was launched by UN Secretary,General Kofi Annan,June 2001 ; completed March 2005.The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment (MA),as it was known,was prepared by over 1300 authors in 95 countries.
