Growth and development in cultivars of Phleum pratense and Lolium perenne during winter
More variable winter climate with frequent fluctuations between frost and mild weather are expected in Norway (RegClim 2005).The aim of the study was to provide a detailed picture of growth and development of contrasting cultivars (cvs.) of timothy ( Phleum p ratense L.) and perennial ryegrass ( Lolium perenne L.) during winter as part of a climate change study.
