Organization, integration and shared utilization of forage germplasm resources

摘要：

Although China is rich in forage germplasm resources, and more than 10,000 accessions have been collected, only about 60％ of them are conserved in the National Long‐term Gene Bank of Germplasm (NLGBG), National Medium term Gene Bank of Forage Germplasm (NMGBFG) and The National Nursery of Perennial Forage (NNPF).About 40％ of the collections are scattered in various agencies without proper conservation.As result,many valuable resources will be lost.Consequently,it is necessary to integrate resources across the country while organizing and integrating resources in NMGBFG and NNPF to achieve shared utilization of forage germplasm resources.
