Field performance of Transgenic tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.) with enhanced tolerance to environmental stress
NDP kinases (NDPKs) are multifunctional proteins that regulate a variety of eukaryotic cellular activities,including cell proliferation,development, and differentiation. Arabidopsis NDPK2(AtNDPK2) is a key signaling component that regulates cellular redox state and is known to enhance multiple stress tolerance when over-expressed in Arabidopsis plant.SWPA2 promoter had previously been found to encode an anionic POD which was highly expressed in response to oxidative stress.
