Entrepreneurial Activity in Russia in Cross-national Comparison:Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2006～2007
Development of entrepreneurship in Russia since the early 1990th was subject of many researchers. However, there is a lack of cross-national surveys.Such a comparison is becoming possible since Russia joined the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) project in 2006.The report, basing on GEM data for 2006 ~ 2007, deals with comparing of Russia s early entrepreneurial activity in different stages ( potential, nascent, baby business etc. ) with other participating countries. Summing up,Russia belongs to a group with lower-middle early entrepreneurial activity; however, the situation is different in separate early entrepreneurs strata.
