Organization Life-cycle:Characteristics of Developmental Stages in Russian Companies Created from Scratch
The purpose of the research was to study the developmental peculiarities of companies established by entrepreneurs in Russian economy from the point of view of organizational life cycles theory. Company life cycle and factors stipulating transition from one stage to another were studied on the example of Russian companies established from the scratch after 1991.Sampling of 593 Russian companies established by entrepreneurs-founders from the scratch was divided into three clusters differing by contextual and structural variables which allows to distinguish three develop-mental stages in companies created from the scratch in compliance with organizational life cycles theory. The analysis carried showed considerable differences in consistent pattern development of Russian companies and companies established in more developed countries.
