Entrepreneurial Strategy:Concept Development with an Empirical Base
In existing literature, the research on the strategy of new ventures always borrows the research pattern of mature companies, however, with different development process, the starting point and the concept composition of entrepreneurial strategy are different from mature companies. From this prospective, this paper develops the concept of entrepreneurial strategy. Based on big sample data from practical investigation, confirmatory factor analysis reveals six generic entrepreneurial strategy archetypes and that can distinguished into two dimensions: one is market & product development, and the other is forwarding action, active competition, and outward expansion.
