Technology-based Innovation and Competition:A Comparative Empirical Analysis with Policy and Managerial Implications
This paper empirically explores the strategic importance of the synchronization of technology-based innovation, R&D, and competitive strategy in the firms. A comparative analysis of Japanese and Australian data demonstrates the empirical significance of strategic consistency in terms of the synchronization of technology-based innovation with initiatives to compete through R&D and continuously adjust competitive strategy and R&D to cope with the changes in the market environments.
