In high velocity market, the management of cannibalization of perishable high tech product is a challenge in high tech companies. In the process of cannibalization, if new product enters into the market too early, it will cannibalize the old product s sales too much, and brings about too much loss. And in the drastic high velocity competing market, if new product enters into the market too late, the company will lose its own market. From describing the phenomenon of cannibalization, this paper gives a model to find the best cannibalization time of perishable high tech product.
