Overview on Explosives Detection Technology
This paper summarized the existing detection and the identification technology for explosives, discussed the principle of work which are used in these methods. It also introduced some equipment for detection, pointed out the disadvantages about cach of them, and predicted the direction of the development in future. In this paper, we stressed the advantages of THz time-domain spectroscopy in detecting explosives and hidden explosives. Discussed the problems which are solved already, and the questions we face now. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the main aspects of the methods above, and to provide some suggestions for the development of detection technology for explosives.
