Study and Application on Compound Active Pre-stressed Support System

The support theory and advantage of compound active pre-stressed support system is described, and it is a new support structure that can apply horizontal and vertical we-stress to the anchor rock. The structure model was set up to be analyzed, and then two calculated formulas were drawn out. Combined withthe actual geological conditions, a new support designed scheme to support the 162403 starting cut was worked out by using the method of numerical simulation, and then industrial experiment was carried out in the 162403 starting cut. The observational results shows that compound active pre-stressed support system can control the distortion of roadway and make it safe effectively.
