Slope Stability Analysis of Slip Surface FE Stress Based on Nader Hypoplastic Model

Hypoplasticity as an alternative to traditional elasto-plasticity in the constitutive models of soil is briefly introduced. Based on Nader hypoplnstic model, the slope stability method of slip surface FE stress is provided. This method is compared with strength reduction method based on elasto-plustic model. By virtue of natural homogeneous slope, Slope stability method of slip surface FE stress based on Nader hypoplastic model and strength reduction method are analyzed. The safety factors of the two methods are almost same and shape and position of slid surface of the two methods are consistent.
