Analysis of the Seismic Response of Cable-Stayed Partial Triple-Layer Space Truss
Cable-stayed partial triple-layer space truss was presented in this paper, which is a new type of long-span structure that partial triple-layer was designed in the place where cable and space truss is linked. Free viberation characteristics and seismic response of new type space truss was analyzed by ANSYS and was compared with cable-stayed double-layer space truss structure. The results show that the designing of partial triple-layer makes the stiffness of space truss is strengthened and the seismic response is decreased dramatically, it has obvious advantages in long-span structures which was subjected to earthquakes frequently. In addition, some conclusions were presented and will be benefit for practice.
