Qualitative Study on Civil Aviation Safety Culture and Safety Performance of China

According to the former relevant research and the actual situation of Chinas civil aviation, indicators and questionnaire of safety culture and safety performance are designed and the relevant data are obtained through field investigations among several civil aviation enterprises. SPSS 14.0 software is used to conduct the reliability test and factor analysis of the indicators. Through the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, as well as theory and practical data, the initial structural equation model of safety culture and safety performance is established. By using the LISREL 8.80 software, the theoretical model is tested and amended. The research results show that, for Chinas civil aviation enterprises, safety idea and safety system have significant and positive impact on the personal safety behavior, and safety idea and safety construction have significant and positive impact on the enterprise safety management degree. Based on these findings, the appropriate recommendations and opinions are proposed for Chinas civil aviation enterprises to build their safety culture.
