Calculation on strength of Coal Mass Based on Weibull Distribution

摘要：

The intensity index should be applied in the engineering design and calculation of coal masses. But it hard to test in situ and gather the gathering size of coal masses, even for most of the low-intensity coal bed it can not be done. In this paper, referring to the test results before, the author studied the size effect and the heterogeneity effect of the coal samples through laboratory tests and numerical tests, and obtained the formula that can be used to calculate the uniaxial compressive strength of the coal masses.
