Development of Testing System for Coal and Gas Coupling under Plane Strain Condition
In order to investigate the gas flow law and rupture process of coal-rock mass in the mining stress condition, research of simulation testing need be done in laboratory. A testing system for coal-gas coupling is developed to measure coal samples rupture and gas seepage under quasi plane strain condition. The system includes four parts: coal-gas coupling unit, RMT-150B rock mechanics servo control axial load unit, gas circuit unit and acoustic emission monitoring uniL The system can load the specimen actively in vertical direction and load the specimen passively in lateral direction, and the two directions ate perpendicular to the gas flow direction. The coal-gas coupling device which can be combined with RMT-150B rock mechanics servo control test machine is designed. New equipments and techniques are also used in the system: gas mass flow meter and gas pressure sensor are used to monitor the flow rate and pressure of gas, acoustic emission system is used to monitor the failure process of sample, and polyurethane sealant and silica plates are used to seal the coal sample with high pore pressure. Test results show that the test system can simulate the changes of permcability and AE events in quantity under quasi mining pressure condition, and change of permeability of coal sample during the rupture process also can be monitored by AE instrument.
