Development of Digital Gas Pressure Determination Instrument in Coal Seam

Conventional gas pressure determining instruments in coal seam have many deficiencies, such as the fussy manual work of numerical reading, the low accuracy of measurement, the discontinuity of data acquisition, the incapability of data visualization and analysis in time. in order to solve these problems, a new digital gas pressure determination instrument is developed by digital information technique. This instrument mainly includes three parts: borehole sealing instrument, automatic regulation instrument of sealing liquid, automatic collection and analysis system of gas data. As the research importance, some key techniques of developing three parts of this instrument are introduced. Practical application shows this developed digital gas pressure determination instrument can improve accuracy, convenience, continuity and utility of gas pressure data than conventional instrument, and can meet most needs of gas pressure. determining in coal seam.
