Study about Destruction Depth of Floor and Optimization of Declining Length of Working Face in Second Mine of Zhenxing

Based on the actual geological condition of 11 regions in the second mine of Zhenxing, the numerical simulation and the theoretical analysis were used to study the stress distribution condition nearby working face, the relations between declining length of working face and stress concentration factor above coal pillar, the distribution condition of plastic zone in floor of working face, the relations between declining length of working face and destruction depth of floor. The findings indicated: The declining length of working face immediately influence the stress distributions shape and the size of surrounding rock, the abutment pressure on coal pillar was dispersively transmited to deep floor, the degree of stress concentration on coal pillar increase along with the declining length of working face and drive to a fixed value when the length of working face exceed a certain value; The end socket of working face produces the compound failure of pull-shearing firstly when mining of working face achieve certain length, and gradually expands along vertical and horizontal direction, forms the fracted zone composed of many crevasses finally; The floor is destructed when the tensile stress in floor rock surpasse its tensile strength; The mining of working face may affect the stress distribution of neighboring region, the water bursting does not always occurs in the working face of mining, water bursting accident is possibly to be induced in the neighboring region; Longer of declining length of working face, bigger of destruction depth of floor;, They fit the logarithmic function relations between the declining length of working face and the destruction depth of floor, the declining length of working face of 11 regions in the second mine of Zhenxing is suggested not to surpass 100m.
