Numerical Simulation of Spontaneous Combustion in Goaf in Moving Coordinates
By utilizing the goal boundarys feature of dynamic movement, a numerical simulation of spontaneous combustion of float coal in goal in moving coordinate is established on the basis of the previous studies, and the non-steady-state differential equations are converted into steady-state differential equations. Moreover, the boundary conditions and solution methods of the equations are also determined according to the characteristics of the mined-out areas. A numerical example is provided in which a simulation of spontaneous combustion in goaf was carried out, and the temperature distribution in goaf at different advance rate is also shown.
