Study on Influence of Apron-type Supports Welding Residual Stress on Safety of the Pressure Vessel
In order to research the influence of apron-type supports welding residual stress, the residual stress of welding seams was measured and analyzed through experiments. The residual stress field acts on the pressure vessel, and the three-dimensional finite-element model of the pressure vessel was established. The stress fields of the pressure vessel under different working conditions were simulated by using the software of ANSYS. Comparing with the stress fields of the pressure vessel without residual stress, the influence of residual stress towards the pressure vessel was analyzed. The conclusions are that the welding residual stress doesnt change the overall stress distribution trend, but it has certain effect on the stress of the vessel.
