Evaluation on Thermal Hazard of Six Poisonous Substances
Thermal runaway reaction of poisonous substances can not only cause fire even explosion accidents but do harm to man and environment which could worsen the disaster. In order to prevent such accident, the thermal hazard of 6 poisonous substances such as acetohydroxamic acid, 2-amino-4-hlorophenol, chloroacetamide, trimethylacetyl chloride, 2-ehloro-3, 5-dinitrobenzoic acid and m-nitro-p-toluic acid was investigated by accelerating rate calorimeter. The thermal hazard characteristic data such as onset exothermic temperature, maximum temperature rise rate and time-to-maximum rate and exothermal curves of 6 toxicants were obtained. Finally, the reaction kinetics of 6 substances was analyzed and the test data of 6 samples were corrected.
