Fire Detection Model Based on Fuzzy RBF Neural Network

A fire detection model of fuzzy RBF neural network is proposed aiming at the problem that presently exists in the fire detection and the characteristic of fire detection signal. The fuzzy RBF neural network is trained and learned using the data of initial fire experiment. This paper takes the ambient temperature (TEM), smoke density (SMK), CO content (CO), infrared intensity (RED) as the input of the network, and the flame probability, smoldering fire probability and non-fire probability as the output. The fire detection model simulates by using the Matlab computer software. The simulation result shows that there is little difference between the actual output and expected output, and it proves that the method based on fuzzy RBF neural network is feasible and effective.
