Determination of the Needed Water Model for Cooling Fired Oil Pool

摘要：

Determination of the needed water model for cooling fired oil pool is significant to put out the oil fire. The paper summarized the current situations of pool fire home and abroad and introduced the model of calculating the heat radiation intensity of pool fire according to its characteristics. Through analyzing the physical features of cooling water and combining the heat radiation formula of pool fire, a model of calculating the intensity of cooling water was put forward. Some case studies and evaluations were made. Tests show that the model is reliable and precise and can be applied to firefighting.
