Numerical Simulation of Smoke Diffusion in High-Rise Building Fires

In high-rise building fires, the most immediate threat to the staffis not the direct exposure to fire but the smoke inhalation because R contains hot air and toxic gas, therefore it important to study the diffusion of fire smoke in high-rise building. In this article ~-e types of three-dimension turbulence model was used in the simulation of smoke flow diffusion in transverse passageway of high-rise building fires. The temperature field, velocity field and concentration field of fire smoke in different floors was analyzed. From the results, and the longer the distance between fire-floor and neutrosphere, the faster the temperature, velocity and ooncentration in transverse passageway of high-rise building changed.
