Research on Safety Control System for Enterprise Railway Crossing Based on Programmable Logic Controller

Enterprise railway is a very important part of its total production system. However, the safety of enterprise railway crossing is serious and critical because the reliability and flexibility of railway crossing security control system (RCSCS) cant be accomplished simultaneously. To overcome this problem, a new-type of RCSCS based on programmable logic controller (PLC) was raised in this paper. The overall design thread for this new kind of RCSCS was introduced. Its structure and components were designed and selected, and its system application program was developed and designed. Finally, an applied example was given to test the effectiveness of the RCSCS, the results show that this new type of RCSCS meets the requirements in system reliability and flexibility, and can be applied to controlling the safety of enterprise railway crossings.
