Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation for Fire Hazard of Villages in Cities

The fire risk in urban villages is a great menace to peoples safety. To evaluate the fire hazard of villages, according to the influence factor of fire probability, a hierarchy multi-stage assessment set was constructed for the fire possibility of urban villages based on the Fire Code on Building Design and the experience of specialists. With the fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, the fire hazard evaluation model and hazard evaluation criterion are established for urban villages by analyzing the possibility and consequences of fire accidents in urban villages. The proposed method is applied in a real urban village and its fire hazard rank was ascertained by quantitative evaluation. The assessment was proved to be objective and successful. The evaluation method of the fire hazard of villages in the cities is helpful to improve the fire prevention level and provide the technical support for fire safety planning and renovation of urban villages.
