Risk Analysis of Construction Stage of Shield Tunneling Projects Based on Dependability Method

Without corresponding accident data, uncertainty and complexity of risk factors make it difficult to do risk analysis of big or small shield tunneling projects. In this paper, the dependability method is presented with a project example to analyze the risk in the construction of big or small shield tunneling projects. Firstly, the probability and the aftereffect of the key risk accidents during the construction stage of the big or small shield tunneling projects are classified. Then the weighted expert investigation method is used to evaluate the risk of the big or small shield tunneling projects. Eventually, the total risk during the construction stage of the big or small shield tunneling projects is obtained by the dependability method. Application example shows that the method is advanced and practicable.
