Suitability Evaluation of Land Exploitative Intensity for Tangshan City Based on Comprehensive Disaster Prevention
On the platform of MAPINFO, both the comprehensive disaster risk prediction model and suitability evaluation of land exploitative intensity are combined. Plot ratio of each residential quarter is computed and land exploitative intensity evaluation indicator is determined for Tangshan city through investigation and by using GIS software. It developed a management information system (MIS) for land exploitative intensity based on comprehensive disaster prevention. By using MIS, it can be getting that the plot ratio is low and disaster is few in north of the center of Tangshan city. Based on the result, some suggestions for city layout and land use direction for Tangshan city were given.
