Research of Evaluation Index System on Bridge Structure Safety Status

This paper, based on the BP (Back-Propagation) Neural Network and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), preesents a complete bridge safety evaluation index system through carrying on a local detailed evaluation on a specific index with BP neutral network and a comprehensive evaluation on the general bridge safety status with Analytic Hierarchy Process in a scoring mode of hundred-mark system designed on the synthetic method of variable weight and genetic algorithm when the bridge components are disassembled into several sub-systems concurrently, and contributes to a beneficial attempt for the research on the bridge safety evaluation.
