The Choice of Regional Leading Industries based on Weaver-Thomas Combination Index Model

摘要：

The problem of leading industries selecting has recently attracted the attention of many researchers from industry and academia.The choice of regional leading industries is a complex process that depends on the interplay among manifold factors,including technological,market,social,economic,and related aspects.This paper introduces the weaver--Thomas combination index model to identify leading industries on the basis of establishing the principle and index systems of regional leading industries selecting ,then,illustrates it with a instance.The instance demonstrates that the method has the realistic significance and provides gist for instituting regional industrial development strategic.
