Empirical Analysis on the Determinate Factors of Chinese Reversal FDI

摘要：

Differed from traditional FDI theory, reversal FDI model, which is developing countries flowing into developed countries, is not based on advantages of proprietorship of industrial technology and management, but is an investment aimed at gaining strategic resources with domestic industrial comparative cost advantages. Empirical research on Chinese Mainland reversal FDI indicated: Chinese reversal FDI is positive correlated with export tendency, gap on technology research and development,Chinese population, but it is negative correlated with import tendency, gap on productivity, distance and investment tendency. The research also appears the strategic goals of Chinese reversal FDI is to promote exports and acquire advanced technology. It validates theory hypothesis of FDI models such as export promoting, learning and acquiring FDI which is advocated by theoretical circle.
