An Analysis of the Trade Terms of Intra-product Export of the Manufacturing Industry in China

Intra-product specialization was a common phenomenon in the international trade of the manufacturing industry, and the share of vertical specialization were put into the calculation of the terms of intra-product trade. It is a new perspective to research the dynamic changes of trade interest within one country in a certain period from participating in Intra-product specialization. Based on the theory of intra-product specialization, this paper explores our countrys profit level in international trade from the perspective of the terms of intra-product trade. Eight sectors reims of intra-product trade of the manufacturing industry were calculated by using the input-output tables and the United Nations trade data. Moreover, the United States and Japan were selected as examples to analyze the terms of intra-product trade in manufacturing industry international trade, and finally relevant conclusions were made.
