The Thought of Soft Power in Cross-border M&As

This article proposed some failures happened in the cross-border M&As with chinas step to go abroad, like the M&A cases of TCL CNOO and SAIG, and pointed out that some problems like culture conflict and political resistance could not be solved by traditional hard power. The author believe that the idea of soft power proposed a new way to reconsider the strategy view of enterprise and helpful for the success of cross-border M&As. This ardcle extended Nyes thought of soft power to the cross-border M&As field, and discussed the definition of it and the change of competitiveness structure,explaining what differences the soft power could make to help companies achieve the effective cross-border M&As.
