Effects of different colored sticky traps on capture of Alfafa thrips

Insects have various preferences to different colors. It has often been used in practice to forecast pest occurrence, or to attract and control them. Lewis (Lewis, T.A.,1959) reported estimating the number of thrips in wheat field using colored cards.
