Discovery and Exploitation of Profitable Opportunities in Emerging Economies

This study departs from previous strategic human resource management studies that took human resource flexibility as source of sustained competitive advantage by arguing that human resource flexibility is actually a kind of dynamic capability. While extant studies investigate strategic change from either resource dependent or institutional view of firm or resource based view of firm, based on the dynamic capability perspective, this study argues that human resource flexibility contribute to firms competitive advantage by facilitating their strategic changes in changing environments.
