The Trend of Library Development under Multimedia and Network Environment

摘要：

With the rapid development of computer and network technology, the libraries of colleges and universities have made great changes. What will the future library be like? By taking world-leading library as example, the future books and libraries, the role of the library staff, the diverse appearances and function of library have been discussed in different ways. Utilizing some specific cases of libraries which are advanced in the world, this article discussed the development trend of future books and libraries, the role change of the library staff and the various ideologies and functions of libraries.
