A Consideration about the Development of the Newly-built Civil Engineering Specialty in Local Undergraduate University
(0) On the background of prosperous economy in China, as the civil engineering specialty in local undergraduate university, it is necessary to carry out teaching reform to improve the competitiveness of talent training. In order to attain this goal, the reform on teaching has been made as follows: Firstly, good investigation, clear target scientific orientation should be done in time. Secondly,practice teaching should be strengthened; educational feature of applied talents should be also outstanding. Thirdly, it is necessary to strengthen construction of teaching staff and set up new educational view. Only by doing this, professional talents with solid foundation, wide entrance, strong competence and high qualities can be trained.
