The Research on Core Competitiveness Construction of Chinas Independent Colleges
As a new model of school running of higher education of china, the independent colleges are an important part of private higher education. Under the present situation of cut-throat competition of higher education, the independent colleges have to vigorously develop and promote own core competitiveness to achieve coordinated growth of quantity, quality, structure and efficiency. This paper introduces the theory of core competitiveness of economics and management science, puts forward the concept of core competitiveness of independent colleges, then defines and analyzes the nature and feature of core competitiveness of independent colleges. Whereafler, on the basis of the durative innovation of development concept and school running ideas, of the consistency of development of teachers and campus culture, of the coordinated development of subjects and regional economy, this paper also probes into efficient methods to upbuild the core competitiveness of independent colleges.
