Internet-Based Personalized E-learning System Design

摘要：

Personalized service is important on the Web, especially in Internet-based learning.Nevertheless traditional learning systems do not generally adapt to learners profiles. Learners have to spend a lot of time before reaching the learning goal that is compatible with their knowledge background. This paper has developed an online personalized Civil engineering Curriculum learning recommender system capable of providing undergraduate students with engineering item that suit their different interests and therefore increase the motivation to learn. The system includes three layers according to system operation procedures including user layer, system layer and Storage layer.Experiment results show that Internet-based Personalized e-learning can achieve personalized learning and help learners to learn more effectively and efficiently.
