Research and Evaluation on Urban Financial Competitiveness:a Case Study of Jiangsu

摘要：

In this paper,we built up evaluation index system on urban financial competitiveness．By statistic approach of factor analysis，urban financial competitiveness of 13 cities in Jiangsu province is evaluated and compared．Result analysis show that urban financial competitiveness has close relationship with urban economic levels．There exist large disparities among different cities in the mode and level of economic development,financial institution business and mode of enterprise finance as well as insurance depth．These disparities make urban financial competitiveness present a shape of gradient．The key measure to further promote financial competitiveness is to optimize financial structure，improve financial efficiency so as to develop banking，insurance and securities industries coordinately．
