A Method for Evaluating Sustainable Development of Regional Economic

摘要：

For evaluating the sustainability of regional economic development,the paper discusses the relationship between data envelopment analysis(DEA)method and some traditional economic theory,and points out the difficulties that DEA method is applied to evaluate the sustainability of regional economic development．Applying poser theory and DEA idea,a non-parameter method is provided to evaluate the sustainability of regional economic development,and an equivalence relation between the efficiency given by this paper and Pareto efficiency in economics is proved．Finally,this method in this paper is applied to evaluating the economic sustainability of Inner Mongolia region．This method can not only give the quantitative measure to economic development sustainability,but also point out the reason of the economic development to be non-sustainable，and find the feasible direction and dimension of economic adjustment．
