Study on Green Product Design and Sustainable Development

摘要：

In order to realize sustainable development,resources consumption must be reduced and environment must be protected．Green product design is proposed in this paper．The essential difference between green product design and traditional design is that in the former the environment behavior of product has been considered carefully．Green product design includes design of disassembly,environment behave，material selection and management,cost analysis and database．So we can conclude that studying and development of green product design is essential to achieve sustainable development．Several approaches that may be adopted in green design are introduced．Finally，difficulties and opportunities in carrying out green product design in China are analyzed.
