Carrying on Environmental Audit to Promote Social Harmony and Progress——taking the concept of sustainable development as a guide

摘要：

Sustainable development is based on the recognition and management of environment in the 1970s，then the environmental audit started,the theory of a harmonious society is put forward by China on the basis of theory of sustainable development in the early 21 st century．This paper uses the methods of layers of synthesis to analyze the development of sustainable development,the emergence and development of environmental audit and harmonious society-related issues,and discusses the relations of them．Finally,this paper concludes that sustainable development is the starting and end point for environmental audit and harmonious society is the ultimate performance of sustainable development,and environmental audit should be carried out under the guidance of the concept of sustainable development．
